A beautiful itinerary from the Seugne valley to the wooded hills of the 3 mountains. After following the Seugne, the polycultured landscape, dotted with groves, gradually opens up, giving rise to charming hamlets here and there. From the Antilles de Jonzac 1) Go down to the Seugne river behind the casino. Cross the Seugne to reach the D134E3 and follow it by turning left to go along the leisure centre. Continue on this road along the Seugne for 2.3km, alongside the railway line. Do not follow the road as it bends to the right and crosses the railway line. 2) You arrive at an intersection where you cross the Bouclette n°5 small cycle circuit, turn left (towards the Seugne), then right after 100m, stay on this road for 1 200m 3) At the bend, when you reach the D149, the roads separate and the circuits branch off towards three destinations: Champagnac on the left the start of the Bouclette n°5 Mirambeau on the right towards the Échappée Nature de Vitrezay. You will turn right, then the first left (the direction of the Voie Verte de Haute-Saintonge and Montendre) 4) Follow the road which bends to the right, and go up it for 2km. 5) At the intersection: straight on (at the crossroads with the D154 continue straight on for 900m and turn right, you will arrive at the remarkable church of Saint-Martin de Fontaines-d'Ozillac where Romanesque and Renaissance art are combined. 6) At the church of Saint-Martin de Fontaines-d'Ozillac, turn left, then 200m further on at the junction of the circuits, turn right towards Chez Garnier, Chez Fillou. Pass under the railway bridge and continue straight on to the D149. 7) Turn left, drive 2km on this road, 8) At Tugéras-St-Maurice, turn left at the second road towards Chartuzac Montendre. At the stop sign, follow this direction downhill along the church. Then direction Chartuzac on the right by the D149. 9) Follow the D149 then turn left towards Expiremont, cross the railway, follow the road for 800m. 10) Then turn right. At the place called la Maisonnette, follow the road to the right and cross the railway again then turn left at the crow's feet. 11) Turn left towards Tabert, chez Jouet, chez Penaud, cross the railway and drive for 1km until you reach the D253. 12) Turn right and go straight on, cross the Laurençanne stream, the railway, follow the main road on the left, it goes up to the right, pass chez Foucaud. 13) At the place called la Pipe, turn left, go over the railway by a bridge and join the village of Chardes. 14) At the stop sign turn left onto the D152 and immediately right towards the church. At the crow's feet, in front of the gate, turn right and follow the small road that crosses the railway by a bridge and join the D152. 15) At the stop sign, turn left to enter Montendre. At the first crossroads, turn left, go past the college, cross a crossroads (football state on the road) and continue to the D730. Cross the D730 and take a small road to the Baron-Desqueyroux lake leisure centre in Montendre.
