Cognac and pineau - Corme-Royal Samuel sharing his passion for his job How many years have you been in business? This year it will be 7 years. But the business has been in the family since 1870! In fact, the first still on the estate is on display in the cellar! I grew up on the estate and I logically took over. Part of our production goes to the trade and the rest (for the bottle) is made from start to finish on the property. We are rather positioned on old pineaux and cognacs. We offer 5 pineaux: 3 whites of 5 years, 10 years and overage and 2 rosés; as well as 3 cognacs: Apéritif, VSOP and Vieille Réserve. What do you want to highlight? First of all, the quality of our products, which come from sustainable cultivation: taking the environment into account is no longer an option, weedkillers and the sulphur used for conservation are now banned! Secondly, the diversity of our profession: we are farmers, winegrowers, but also salesmen, saleswomen and guides. And it's always a pleasure during the tasting visits to talk about our traditional know-how.
