A church with incredible architecture and a panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding area. Both a church and a fortress, the building surprises by its imposing appearance on the edge of the Marais Poitevin, once a vast expanse of water: the Golf des Pictons. Listed as a historical monument since 1840, this 12th century Romanesque building was fortified in the 14th century to protect the coast from English attacks. Let yourself be carried away by its history and discover its facades rich in ornamentation and, inside, its furniture, classified in the 18th century. The covered walkway also offers a breathtaking view of the Bay of Aiguillon and its surroundings.
