The church of Saint-Vivien, which has been altered many times, now has an indefinable architectural style that blends Romanesque, Gothic and classical styles. Its interior houses the tomb of Jacques Goulard, Lord of Marsais who died in 1474. This eclectic ensemble has recently been fitted with beautiful stained glass windows depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments and a wooden ogival frame, made by a local craftsman, which floods the vessel with an amazing light and warmth. You will also discover the ruins of the Château de Beaulieu, built a little behind the church in the 15th century. Legend has it that it is linked to the Château d'Olbreuse, in the Deux-Sèvres, by an underground passage.
