Cow's milk, beef and veal - Pisany Michaël who shares his passion for his job with us Your farm went organic two years ago, why did you make this choice? It's a choice that is part of an environmentally friendly approach that corresponds to my values and increasingly to those of the customers who come to collect their milk from the milking parlour. In addition to milk, I do a bit of milk-fed veal and beef in parcels on reservation. How long have you been selling directly? I've been doing it for about twenty years. About fifteen litres are sold every day. People come with their containers and they leave with milk that is both fresh and hot! There is a regularity and therefore a relationship that is established with these customers. Obviously, this only represents a very small part of my production that goes to the cooperative. How many animals do you raise? The herd has about 140 head. The organic label requires that the animals be grazed; here they are semi-free-range, but when it's very cold, they prefer to take shelter in the stable! I also grow all the cereals and fodder they need. The farm is autonomous and I control the whole chain.
