Public collection of contemporary art with 2 to 3 temporary exhibitions per year. Museum located on the banks of the Charente, 20 minutes walk from Angoulême town centre. Based on its collection of works, the FRAC Poitou-Charentes offers contemporary art exhibitions in its premises in Angoulême and Linazay, in schools, museums and media libraries in the region thanks to partnership projects, as well as in national and international venues by lending works from its collection. Visitor guides for adults and game books for children are available to help them understand the works. In its exhibitions, the FRAC Poitou-Charentes invites you to: guided tours, art workshops for children and families, meetings with artists, concerts, conferences, performances... Please note that the FRAC is only open during the temporary exhibition periods (available on the FRAC website). Open on the 1st Sunday of each month (accompanied visit at 4pm).
