Description

This tumulus is 86 metres long and is part of a set of four imposing tumuli aligned along a north-east/south-west axis near Tusson. Built in Neolithic times - in the fifth millennium B.C. - it was a burial site. Like the other nearby mounds it is easy to spot from a distance as it stands alone in an arable field covered by a copse.
