Located 12 kilometres from Royan in the commune of Chaillevette in Charente Maritime and created by Fabienne in 2006, the pony club "le Petit Carrousel" is open all year round. It has 35 ponies of all sizes (including mounts for adults). We offer lessons, introductions, courses, rides and walks (on different marked routes, in the woods and in the shade) from the age of 2 upwards. We also offer you the chance to share magical moments, by suggesting walks with family or friends (all levels, children aged 10 and over). For the more experienced riders, we offer walks in the woods at all 3 paces (sporting routes, we recommend you bring a good plate of food). We have a family atmosphere and our main aim is to teach fun riding based on games and respect for the animal. We are affiliated to the Fédération Française d'Équitation (French Riding Federation), and all our staff have state qualifications. We have a covered riding arena. Our riding centre has been awarded the "Cheval Qualité France" and "Cheval et Différence" (Equitherapy) labels.
