The station buffet offers mussels, grills, salads and pancakes at lunchtime. Throughout the day you can enjoy sandwiches and a drink on the terrace in the shade of the pine trees. The restaurant "Le Buffet de la Gare" offers a relaxing and restful break on the way out and on the way back, for visitors who wish to do so. Adjacent to the activity of the P'tit Train de Saint Trojan which offers a discovery tour of the sandy and pine landscapes of the Gatseau beach and the Pertuis de Maumusson. Entirely refurbished recently, this establishment is located 50m from the ticket office and the boarding platform. With a capacity of 100 covers, it has an L-shaped room and a sunny terrace. The restaurant is open from 1 April to 30 September. Service from 12pm to 3pm in season. The frying oil from this restaurant, as well as from all the establishments on the island of Oléron, is recovered and used as fuel for the engine of the P'tit Train locomotives.
