Discover oyster-farming ! An experience for the whole family ! Shrimp fishing for children at the end of the visit ! This Ecomuseum is dedicated to the history of the Maritime Estuary. One of the many exhibitions there explains the life-cycle of oysters, their environment and the town's tradition. The museum also put the emphasis on the history of oyster-farming with a display of tools and scale models. Here, one of the huts offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the local environment and activities, including oyster-farming, through a slideshow of 400 images of Port des Barques. Guided tour focusing solely on oyster farming and shrimp fishing.
