The LPO nature guided walks, a great way to discovery biodiversity on on our island ! All year round, come and take part in a nature outing organized by the LPO. Accompanied by a nature guide, you'll discover the natural riches of our territory. Several options are available! Given their duration and the need to remain calm, these activities are not recommended for young children. Check out our "Nature Walks" for all ages! Nature Escapes: With more than 100 Espaces Naturels Sensibles, Charente-Maritime abounds in natural treasures and breathtaking landscapes. Treat yourself to a moment of escape, a natural interlude. Come and explore our nature escapes. On the Ile de Ré, the LPO invites you to discover some of the department's remarkable sites. Duration: 2 hours. Full price: €8 / Reduced price: €5 / Free for children under 5. Nature walks (for families with children): Discover the birds and plants of the marsh near the Maison du Fier. One of the first approaches to nature recommended for families with children. Duration: 1h. Full price: €5 / Reduced price: €4 Bird and Nature Outings: Les Portes-en-Ré Nature Reserve / La Lasse in Loix / Ars Marsh / La Couarde Marsh Aube Sauvage: Learn about birds (identification, lifestyle, migration), nature and marsh landscapes. On the edge of the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve, in the marshes of Ars, Loix or La Couarde. Nature at dusk: At the end of the day, nature is calm again. Some animals make themselves scarce, others become active. Others are more active (bring a flashlight and warm clothing). The Nature Reserve in winter: During the "bad season", large numbers of birds from northern Europe come to the Ile de Ré to find food. Brent geese, sandpipers, curlews, plovers, turnstones and spoonbills take refuge in the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve at high tide. Goose and Co" outings are also scheduled in winter to discover one of the emblematic birds of the Retais winter: the Brant from Siberia! Sainte-Marie: In partnership with ANCRE Maritaise.
