Randonnée pédestre Crazannes / Port-d'Envaux

Hiking in the communes of Crazannes and Port-d'Envaux in Charente-Maritime (17). Start : Church of Crazannes ; GPS 45°50'49.0 "N 0°42'09.7 "W - Go in the opposite direction to the church, past the cemetery and follow the road to the left (old railway line). - The path that follows includes a passage along the wet and flood-prone Charente: avoid this in winter, during high tides and very wet periods (private: mountain biking, horse riding, do not use). Follow the straight railway track for 1km (.....), then turn left onto the road entering Port-d'Envaux and walk down to the quay. - Turn left to reach the Château de Crazannes. Continue along the marsh road and turn right. - Take the track on the left, then turn right and follow the Charente to the right. You will see the Château de Panloy on your right. - Walk along the quay. Cross the ditch bordering a property and walk along it. You can start here: Pré Valade in Port-d'Envaux; GPS 45°50'04.5 "N 0°40'34.6 "W - Take the road on the right and, at Les Rivauds, the D128 on the right. Before the bridge, turn left. Continue along a grassy track. Take the road on the right. Turn left onto the track in the valley. Cross the D237 E3 to the left and continue along the gravel path for 700 m. - Turn right to enter the Muré woods. Cross the bridge over the A 837, turn right and follow the motorway. Turn right onto the D119 E2, cross the bridge and take the track on the left. Continue along the road opposite. - Before the sawmill, take the track on the left. It leads to the quarries and then runs alongside a car park. - When you see the church, turn right, cross the D128, pass the town hall and turn right through the park to get back to the car park.
