Hiking in the commune of Port-d'Envaux in Charente-Maritime (17). Start: In front of the church of Saint-Saturnin-de-Séchaud in Port-d'Envaux; GPS 45°49'51.0 "N 0°40'19.03W - Take the street on the south side of the church. At the calvary, turn left and then right towards the woods. The shady path leads to the Chêne Besson (century-old double oak). - Turn left and continue through the woods. At the next crossroads, take the right-hand lane. - The path does not go through there. Turn left to return to the undergrowth. - At the fork in the road, turn right. You will skirt a clearing. In the Combe de Bidon, the path becomes steeper. It emerges from the woods onto a road. Follow it to the left to find the calvary and the church of Saint-Saturnin-de-Séchaud.
