Visite du Marais du Roc

Come and meet the salt worker on the Marais du Roc located at Portes en Ré Route du Roc; in a protected and natural setting. The Roc marshes have been completely rehabilitated. In the program : Guided tour, including an explanation of the water circuit (from the sea to the crystallizers); discovery of the fauna and flora that the salt worker encounters on a daily basis. Demonstration of taking Coarse Salt in the morning and Fleur de Sel in the evening (weather permitting). Explanation of the work carried out during the different seasons with demonstration (depending on the period) with traditional tools. Duration : 1 hour Sale of Coarse Salt, Fleur de Sel, Fleur de Sel Caramels and other marsh products… - Group, company, by appointment.
