Gift shop. Domaine de la Chevalerie - Vignoble Pelletant, located in the commune of Saint Amant de Nouère, covers 38 hectares of vines. It produces a wide range of products, from Cognac to grape juice. Coming from four generations of winegrowers, I took over the family estate. But before I became the passionate man I am today, I travelled a long road. You have to realise that the world of wine obeys certain rules, of which passing on is one, a 'taste' for hard work and being locked away in the privacy of the vineyards. Ever since I was young, I've preferred to avoid anything that's set in stone. So I took off for somewhere else, and I told myself that if I wanted to be able to look out over my vineyards every morning, I had to come up with a different project, one that reflected my own personality. It took me a few years to work away from home, training in tasting, management and marketing... In 2011, I realised what my job was, my passion, to change the way we see things. The first steps I took in this new direction, which I wanted and didn't have to take, gave me the opportunity to combine my personal emotions with my vocation. The organisation of convivial evenings around artists on the property and many other events have seen the light of day... Activities on offer : Breakfast at the foot of the alembic: Around the alembic, soak up the smells and flavours with a unique and friendly distillation experience.
