La Ferme aux ânes

La Ferme aux Ânes promotes the donkey species in all its virtues and has diversified into a real educational farm since 2022. You will be able to discover all the animals of the farm during the visits in carriage or the strolls with donkeys. Donkey ride Price: 20 minutes on the back of the donkey, 12,50€. Departures are grouped at fixed times. The most popular activity for families, a parent (well-shod) accompanies the child (from 3 years old to 40 kg) while guiding the donkey. The route is safe and marked out on a flat course, without pitfalls. The equipment is adapted, we provide the riding helmets and we propose disposable "charlottes" on request. Our donkeys are all trained to walk at a walk. This will be an opportunity to discover the farm at the donkey's pace. The free visit Price: 3,50 €/pers 45 minutes minimum. On opening days and times. With the family, the self-guided tour allows you to explore the educational farm at your own pace and at more varied times. The route is signposted and marked with descriptive panels to inform you about the species and breeds encountered. The guided tour becomes a personalised family activity Price: 35€ for half an hour or 60€/family (8 people maximum) for 1 hour of special activity. What could be better than an animator for your family to meet your expectations for 1 hour! Cuddle time and photos directly in the farm's animal parks. Reservation required. The Family Animation is a unique moment of sharing with our guides. It is a rare opportunity to come into contact with the animals and to talk freely about breeding techniques... On a walking tour, meet the Baudets du Poitou and other horses, the Nez Noirs du Vallais sheep, the Poitevines goats, the Gascon pigs and the local poultry... Little Farmers' Workshop Price: 20 €/child, 2 hour session. On registration Children (from 5 to 12 years old) can become real little farmers for a morning, accompanied by our caretaker. We offer you the opportunity to share our passion and to participate in the farm's tasks: maintenance and cleaning of the enclosures, feeding of the animals, grooming of the donkeys. At the Ferme aux Ânes, Poitevin draught horses and Poitevin mules complete the equine family. Discover our farms by carriage on guided tours. Our 30-minute tours allow you to share a special moment with your family with our guide. Our horse-drawn carriages are comfortable and our passionate drivers will comment the visit on routes near the parks beyond the Educational Farm. Handi'âne From 35€ for 1/2 hour On reservation La Ferme aux ânes offers many activities for adults and children with disabilities. Individually or in a group, come into contact with the animals of the farm with a guide experienced in disability. You will also find a shop (books, cuddly toys, donkey milk soaps, leather belts from the Le Zèbre workshop) and a refreshment bar offering beer from the Ile et Elle brewery, grape juice from the Pradère vineyard and lemonade from Oleron from La Bullerie.
