Downtown garden adjacent to the Natural History Museum Donated to the city by Napoleon I in 1808, this garden covers an area of 8700m ² composed of a botanical garden for the general public, a picturesque garden for families and a winter garden conducive to strolling. The garden includes some emblematic plants but especially the largest plane tree in La Rochelle.
