

At the bottom of the promenade du Mail, near the Casino, the Towers and the Old Port, this urban beach is very close to the city centre. This sandy beach offers an entertaining view of sailboats entering or leaving the Old Port. The Richelieu Lighthouse, recognizable by its red color, can be seen offshore. It's ideal for a break after shopping, an impromptu swim or playtime with the kids just outside Parc Charruyer. A snack bar is open all season. The beach is equipped with wooden decking to facilitate access to the water for people with reduced mobility. It is also equipped with a "Tiralo", a wheelchair allowing access to the water with the help of a third party, and a "Hippocampe", a wheelchair allowing access to the water on its own. ️- Supervised beach from July to August. ️- Lifeguard station open from 11am to 7pm in July and August: 05 46 41 27 80. - Smoke-free beach. - No pets allowed.
