The Lido is finished! Odil restaurant has now opened its doors, with 100% home-made cooking and local products. Odil sets up shop on the Grande Conche beach After the Lido, welcome to Odil In a nod to Royan's iconic restaurant-café, Odil takes over and reverses the letters Lido to remain true to the place. Moreover, Odil is inspired by the cult film "La Cité de la Peur". Odile de Ray, the main character played by Chantal Lauby, wonders what the mysterious letters O.D.I.L. mean. Created and conceptualized by Damien Chauvin & David Zenouda Odil presents a French-Californian fusion card. From lunch to sunset, Odil offers eco-responsible, seasonal cuisine. This pop and acidulous, fresh and colourful culinary style is a tribute to the beach and the history of Royan, an emblematic town of the 50s. The menu includes all the great standards of Los Angeles and Palm Springs cuisine: tacos, poké bowls, lobster rolls, pancakes, etc. Designed by José Ribeiro, chef of the Parisian restaurant Café A, the menu celebrates a generous and fragrant cuisine for sharing.
