Located in the heart of the St Fraigne marshes, the ephemeral gardens are flooded every winter, then reborn in spring with a new plant and cultural adventure. Every spring, artists, landscape designers, visual artists and amateurs take over and interpret the space on a new theme, offering visitors a fun and colourful stroll over the summer period. The gardens are managed by Isle Nature, a multi-faceted site that includes not only the ephemeral gardens with their exhibition pavilions, but also the Maison de l'Eau, the church and its murals, and the marsh and its biodiversity. There is also an LPO refuge in the gardens. A calendar of events and workshops on nature, aquatic environments and environmental awareness is available on our website.
